ALMA Reveals Stunning Details of Infant Galaxies in the Early Universe

The [CII] Resolved ISM in STar-forming galaxies with ALMA (CRISTAL survey) peered back to when the Universe was only about one billion years old – a mere toddler in cosmic terms.
