PING 2015: Exploring the Cosmos with NRAO student Ava Patino meets with President Obama prior to the October 19th White House Astronomy Night event. PING is in collaboration between the National Society of Black Physicists (NSBP http://nsbp.org/), Associated Universities Inc. (AUI), and the National Radio Astronomy Observatory (NRAO) to encourage girls and traditionally underrepresented minorities to pursue careers in astronomy and physics.
